The Ultimate Tea Diet. We have all heard the news. Tea is good for us. Great. It boosts metabolism, helps the immune system, lowers blood sugar. Some teas can help you relax, sleep and get more energy. Some can help focus you mentally and some can even help cut cravings. Some claim to help you lose up to 10 pounds in one week.

The Ultimate Tea Diet goes somewhat like this: Find a tea you really enjoy and drink it all day. The caffeine that is naturally in tea is far less than that of a soda or cup of Joe. There is also L-theanine in tea that sends a message to your brain that you are not hungry. Also, there is EGCG in tea, a great antioxidant. The Ultimate Tea Diet offers options for meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as snacks.

There are so many people out there that swear by this certain food or that. I have two children and have put on the weight with both of them, I still do not fit into the clothing that I would like. I have tried so many “fad” diets. The Cabbage Soup Diet, South Beach, Atkins diet, The only eat veggies diet and the starvation diet. I have tried Trim Spa, Herbal concoctions of one kind or another, including Hoodia. There is so much put on how we look that almost everyone at some point or another is on a diet. If any of them worked – would there be so many? At least the Ultimate Tea Diet sounds appealing. Most people enjoy one sort of tea or another, mine being mint.

I didn’t last long on the Cabbage Soup Diet because for me personally, it was just not my thing. That’s what makes the Ultimate Tea Diet seem a step above some — it is taste-appealing at least. Trim-spa just made me jittery so iI didn’t use it long term. I did do fairly well weight wise on the Adkins but only while I was on it. Although I have to admit that I noticed that after a while I was not my normal energetic self and that I didn’t enjoy as much. I think that the Ultimate Tea Diet may work to a degree.

If you replace high calorie and high sugar drinks with that of low-calorie drinks, such as tea or water than of course, you will lose weight. Common sense tells us that. I believe that I am finally on the right track with how I am handling dieting now. I have found one that gives me freedom, keeps me healthy, and helps to lose weight the healthy way. Not by strictly restricting what and when I can eat. That is just not practical for a mom of two very active kids under 7. I eat smaller portions of what I choose, get in at least 8 glasses of water a day and exercise often. There is no more looking longingly at that piece of birthday cake that I can’t have. No more just eating meat and avoiding carbohydrates like they were the plague. I am a real human with cravings and you can have them, just a small amount.

There is no guilt in that. I will incorporate the Ultimate Tea Diet into my life but not as a whole diet, but as in yes, tea is good for you. After all, many studies, essays and research papers support that claim. Everyone should help take the step to lower cholesterol, blood sugar, and help memory and their immune system by drinking tea. Maybe not by doing that alone though. It has always been said that the best way to do it is by eating a variety of healthy foods, such as veggies, fruits, and whole grains. Tea is a healthy alternative to soda or other sugared drinks to wash it all down with.
